V Lesu, Russia
Developed by Rose Group, Microgorod “V Lesu” has set new standards for the Moscow residential sector by offering homebuyers a well configured development, with good facilities and apartments finished to a high quality. Microgorod “V Lesu” is a 10,000 units housing community currently under construction on the North-Western edge of Moscow 6 km from the MKAD and 23 km from the Moscow Kremlin. The development of the 98-hectares site is split into 8 phases. Phase 1, comprising of 1,193 apartments and 1,239 underground parking lots in 3 mid-rise buildings, is completed and ready for the hand-over in March 2014. Microgorod “V lesu” combines the convenience of urban living with the benefits of the exposure to nature: it is located just in 1.6 km from the nearest metro station and at the same time is adjacent to a large protected forest estate. The project key objective was to create the affordable family housing with unbeatable level of amenities and pleasant to live in.
“V lesu” is targeted at the lower-middleclass families, therefore the safety and convenience for the children is one of the utmost priorities. All buildings feature car-free enclosed court-yards with playgrounds and landscape design. All apartments are fully fit-out and equipped with sanitary and electrical fixtures. The facades were designed so that each multi-core connected building looks rather like a traditional city block of different buildings adjacent to each other. Public amenities include 2 schools and 3 kindergartens. The first school and kindergarten are under construction and are to be opened on September 2014. Further project phases feature broader variety of housing types, including single-core towers and town-houses with small private gardens, built into the ground level of the multi-core mid-rise apartment blocks on top. Phase 4 is planned along a pedestrian retail street leading to the central square with the community center.
