West Harbour – Urban Passenger Port

The West Harbour urban regeneration project aims to restore the connection between the harbor and the city. The old cargo harbor and dock yards have been relocated and the remaining passenger port with its new hotel and retail functions will act as the lively center of the area. By 2030, 22,000 new residents will have moved to the area and 10,000 new jobs created next to the port servicing up to 10 million passengers per year. The project will return everyday urban life to the active port area and large ferries to the landscape of a modern diversified city center.
