The recovery trend in land prices has continued to grow. As of Jan. 1, average land prices in both residential and commercial districts of the three major urban areas of Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya had risen from a year earlier for the second consecutive year, according to a survey of the government-posted land prices recently released by the land ministry.
