MIPIM Asia Awards Winners!

MIPIM Asia has just announced the winners of its sixth annual awards competition honouring outstanding real estate projects in the Asia-Pacific region.

An international jury led by Dr. Ngee Huat Seek, Board Director, Government of Singapore Investment Corporation (GIC) Real Estate, met in Hong Kong earlier this month to examine the 80 projects submitted from 15 countries.

“The participation rate has been improving over the years. It’s a great platform for Asian players and non-Asian players, to get together. It’s a great place to network and show off all the different products, which have been improving over the years,” said Seek.

For the first time, projects from China, Singapore and India dominated the list with 29, 15 and 12 entries respectively. Other projects were entered from Australia, Azerbaijan, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Russia, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, the United Arab Emirates and Vietnam.

MIPIM Asia delegates will be asked to vote for their favourites among these winners during the show from November 15 to 17 in Hong Kong. This will determine their ranking—bronze, silver or gold. Ranking of the winners’ podium will be announced at MIPIM Asia.

Congratulations to the 29 winners and good luck for the final ranking!
