Press release, Cannes, 11 March, 2014 – Reed MIDEM, organiser of MIPIM, MIPIM Asia and MIPIM UK, today announces the launch of MIPIM Japan, scheduled to take place in May, 2015.
Based in Tokyo, MIPIM Japan will be an international forum primarily focussed on the Japanese real estate sector. The new event will include gold standard conferences, panels and workshops, numerous networking events and project showcases.
The new two-day event will provide a one-stop forum, highlighting the best of Japan. National and international delegates will have access to the latest property projects, innovative architecture, buildings and cities and new technology.
A statement from Japan’s Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) said, “The Japan MLIT is very pleased to support the launch of MIPIM Japan on May 20-21, 2015 in Tokyo. MIPIM Japan will be an outstanding opportunity to promote the Japanese real estate market. We are looking forward to welcoming the real estate professionals from around the world willing to invest or source investment in Japan and learn from the solutions Japan has managed to implement in regards to innovative cities, sustainable architecture and construction.”

In 2006, the MIPIM concept was introduced to Hong Kong with the launch of MIPIM Asia and in 2014, MIPIM’s 25th anniversary, the British real estate industry will come together at the country’s first dedicated real estate event with the opening of MIPIM UK, to be held October 15-17 in London.
