We are pleased to announce the winners of MIPIM Open Stage 2015, the crowdsourcing conference competition organised last December. The participants had to submit their ideas on the impact of Big and Open Data on the property industry in order to win the opportunity to create their own 1-hour conference session at MIPIM 2015, this March in Cannes.

The first crowdsourcing conference competition, organised by MIPIM, was a real success with 15 submitted topics and more than 12,000 votes. Please find more information on the competition here.

The big winner is CompStak in association with Fundrise, often compared to Wikipedia and Kickstarter. The US companies, leaders in their field, jointly submitted the subject entitled “The Power of the Crowd – A Game Changer In Commercial Real Estate”. Fundrise is a real estate crowdfunding and investment platform. CompStak provides meaningful data for real estate experts, brokers, investors, asset managers and economists to compare properties and hedge funds to make investments.

The Runner’s Up are : Merchlar, AugmentedPixels and MCS.

The winners ( 1st place) will present their topic on Thursday 12 March from 4 to 5 p.m. in Blue Room. The three other finalists (2nd, 3d and 4th place) will participate in the conference session “Open Stage Runner’s Up : Big and Open Data: the impact on the property Industry” on Friday 13 March from 11 to 12 a.m. in Green Room.
