20 Farringdon Street London

20 Farringdon Street, London
Presented by HB Reavis

HB Reavis acquired 20 Farringdon Street, EC4, a prime development site in London’s midtown, in October 2014, representing its second acquisition in the UK market. The site, which currently comprises 4,000 sq m of unoccupied offices across nine storeys, has full planning permission for a brand new 12-storey office building totalling 7,000 sq m. The new plans for 20 Farringdon Street are being finalised and are expected to include improvements such as floor-to-ceiling glazing around three sides of the building, providing an abundance of natural light. In addition, the top three floors will be set back to create a series of external terraces overlooking the adjacent Fleet Place, offering an attractive area of open space. The Grade A new building will prioritise energy efficiency, targeting an ‘Excellent’ BREEAM rating for its sustainable design.
