Chayma Oueslati, Real Estate Analyst, CUSHMAN & WAKEFIELD

 Chayma is the winner of the 2018 Junior Real Estate Industry Award, organized by Infopro Digital Group and sponsored by the Palladio Foundation, as part of the SIMI Trade Fair.

Her research focuses on the impact of natural hazards and climate change on real estate markets and property valuation tools in risk areas.

Chayma Oueslati will be joining the discussion at MIPIM “Engaging the future”, as a young leader on the Sustainability forum: performance for value”.

for the industry:

 Imagine the future of your industry: How do you see your business evolving in the future?

In the future, I see the real estate industry more oriented towards innovation, new technologies and sustainability issues.

Professional commitment: What will be your driving force?

My driving force is to explore new innovation opportunities that can help put the social and environmental issues at the heart of the real estate industry.

Political framework/governance wish for the future of the industry

Efforts must be made to raise the awareness about the climate change challenges the world is facing.

What makes the Real Estate industry attractive to you?

As an architect, urban planner and a business school graduate, being a real estate professional gives me the opportunity to be involved in different projects and contribute in many ways in each of them.

As a young leader, what the MIPIM main theme “Engaging the future” means to you?

I am very pleased to take part in this 30th edition which focuses on the future challenges of the real estate industry. This is a major concern for young professionals who are looking to make a positive impact on the industry and contribute to its development.

What are your expectations for MIPIM?

Great meetings and interesting exchanges.

How do you see the industry evolving? What are the next challenges facing the industry?

Accelerated urbanization, resource depletion and climate change are amongst the major challenges for the real estate industry in the next coming years.

How did you feel when you received the speaker invitation for the MIPIM? What was your first reaction?

I am very pleased and honored to take part in such an event and to share my ideas about the impact of climate change on the real estate markets.
