Crowd DD is a new site that serves as a one stop source for finding, researching and sharing crowdfunding platforms and equity/debt investments for Real Estate. It allows accredited investors to exchange knowledge of deal participants, their track records and more. Seems like a really good idea considering there are 146 crowdfunding sites out there right now. This should help enable investors to compare fees, learn what questions to ask and examine risk profiles. Glad to see this kind of thing emerging.

It’s exciting to see the different directions 3D printing is going. Chizel Prints has now combined elements of building information modeling (BIM), smart cities, and 3D printing to come up with 3D printed models of smart cities. These scaled down ‘smart models’ are wireless and simulation can be controlled via mobile app. More importantly they have helped reduce project lead time to nearly 50%. Talk about efficiency.
