Best Real Estate Law Student: and the winner is...| MIPIM-World Blog

For the first time this year, MIPIM joins Juridim, circle of directors and legal managers of real estate, to announce the ‘Best Real Estate law student in 2012’. This award was presented at a reception in Paris, Thursday, 5 April 2012, at the offices of Thomson Reuters, brought together by key players Herbert Smith, the Palladio Foundation, Allianz Real Estate, GE Capital Real Estate, and Business Realty.

“MIPIM is pleased to join this contest to support future business and boost relations between universities and the professional world. For several editions, MIPIM forms partnerships with world-renowned colleges offering their students the opportunity to participate freely in our shows and to involve them in the content of our programs as part of their curriculum. These operations serve to broaden the perspectives and provide a different perspective on the future of the industry,” commented Filippo Rean, Director of MIPIM.

22 year old Elodie Letouche, Masters of Notorial Law, under the direction of Pierre Murat, Faculty of Lax of Grenoble,  received the prize for Best Student Real Estate Lawyer 2012, from the hands of Olivier Piani, president of Allianz Real Estate and sponsor of the 2012 promotion.  Agathe Minvielle-Sabastia (Master Student of Real Estate and Construction at Pantheon Assas) was awarded second place and Simon Estival (Masters of Real Estate and Construction at Pantheon-Assas) came in third.  Reed MIDEM has awarded the three winners with an official entrance to MIPIM 2013.

Since 2008, MIPIM has been working with the Department of Real Estate and Urban Land Economic of the Wisconsin Business School, one of the most prized academic programs in the world. Among the initiatives launched on the occasion of this partnership, the show offers a conference entitled the ‘Wrap Up’, which relies on the testimony collected by students of all participants at MIPIM. This final session led by the Dean of the School, Professor François Ortalo-Magne, summarizes the general sentiment of key stakeholders in the sector on the situation of global real estate. Students have also been associated with top institutional investors in real estate, “Re-Invest” in contributing to the drafting of the White Paper at the end of this flagship event launched for the first time at MIPIM this year.
