Italian retailer Miriade is meeting the needs of today’s fashionistas with a “myriad” of quality handbags, shoes and small leather goods.
Created in 1997, by a group of entrepreneurs looking to exercise their expertise in leather goods and fashion, Miriade is a company dedicated to the development, production and distribution of handbags, shoes and small leather goods under license agreements with well-known designer brands.
Miriade is currently the exclusive licensee for six brands: RoccoBarocco, RB, Krizia Poi, Valentino, Yamamay and Lancetti. Products are exported to 70 countries worldwide and can be found in high-end fashion and leather goods stores, international department stores and airport duty-free shops. In Italy, brands are available in around 1,000 specialized retail shops as well as Italian department stores and airports.
Miriade aims to create value through customer satisfaction and support for the creativity of their products’ designers. Continuous efforts are conducted in research and development to pinpoint the most innovative production technology, hottest market trends and newest materials and colors.
Since its conception, Miriade has expanded their portfolio to include other goods including silk and wool accessories, gloves, caps and travel and business leather goods. Each season, the collections include a total of 1,000 different skus (stock keeping units) across all ranges. Turnover has been growing steadily, and by the end of 2008, production had reached a whopping 1.2 million pieces per season!
