Henderson menswear recently aligned with the Russian national football team for the Euro 2012 Championship.
With sports making headlines every day, what better way to boost your brand visibility than through a sports club partnership? That’s exactly what Henderson menswear has done in Russia. For over 19 years, this retailer has been offering elegant and stylish men’s clothes for all occasions. In 2010, HENDERSON became an official partner of the Russian Hockey Federation, dressing youth, junior and national hockey players at official events. More recently, the retailer aligned with the Russian national football team for the Euro 2012 Championship.
Backed by sensation Ilya Kovalchuk, one of the best hockey players in the world, Henderson has tapped into the right strategy for global visibility. Ilya Kovalchuk recently became the new face of Henderson, entering in a long term agreement to promote the brand at official events. As two time world champion and arguably, the top player for the New Jersey Devils Hockey Team in the US, exposure to the brand couldn’t be better. He says, “I like to present only those things that I do really love. HENDERSON is a long-standing partner of the Ice Hockey Federation of Russia, and my wardrobe contains more and more of HENDERSON clothes. That’s why I was very glad to enter this partnership.”
HENDERSON is present in 33 Russian cities with stores in over 100 of the biggest trading centres. The brand offers styles for all seasons and all occasions: elegant business suits, shirts, knit-wear as well as upper garments, shoes and accessories. With a focus on fabricating high quality products, the brand works with the best Italian producers for impeccable material.
Awarded Brand of the Year/EFFIE in 2006 and Best retailer of menswear middle segment in the PROFashion Awards in 2010, Henderson is making strides and positioning itself as a leader in Russian menswear.
Henderson will be at MAPIC this year hoping to expand their brand and develop their presence.
