Brian Tucker, of Deka Immobilien Global Real Estate Investments is wary of poor consumer spending and rental growth.
Take a moment to hear what Brian Tucker, head of Retail Aquisitions of Deka Immobilien Global Real Estate Investments has to say regarding the state of the retail market.
He feels that the past few years have been very difficult as overseas investors were coming onto the markets and increasing the competition. This resulted in fewer products with prices suffering under pressure.
Since last summer however, he has seen more activity and states that there has been more product back on the market.
Looking forward he is wary of weakening consumer spending, as people will naturally become more nervous. He claims that poor consumer spending will certainly have an impact on rental growth.
