Ile de France embraces regional logistics by presenting their multi-modal solution adapted to the 'city of tomorrow'.
Economic strife in recent years may have destabilised many sectors in the real estate industry, however the logistics has become increasingly sophisticated and profitable, making it one of the hottest topics of focus at the moment.
For its 23rd edition, MIPIM highlighted the growing sector by creating a new programme featuring a logistics pavilion with a host of conferences and panel discussions dedicated to the booming sector.
In Ile de France, regional logistics planning has gained impressive technical and political importance. SOGARIS was at MIPIM this year to present their current projects and discuss Urban logistics: the next challenge of megacities?
SOGARIS is specialised in the design, development, investment, marketing, operation and management of multimodal and urban freight logistics platforms. With 484 000 m² of warehouses, transit docks and offices for rent over 7 sites in France, Sogaris’ objective is to develop new projects that mix both modernity and environment respect.
Christophe Ripert, Director for development operations at SOGARIS presented a few slides on their multi model logistic hotel of Chapelle International featuring a combination of logistical activities, public facilities and tertiary activities.
