São Paulo’s major urban redevelopment plan, valued at US $2.8 billion.
Things are moving in São Paulo, Brazil. The city has consolidated its position over the years as a leading real estate investment market, supported by sustained economic growth, an emerging middle class and upcoming global events such as the 2014 World Cup and the 2016 Olympic Games to further propel the current cycle. While at MIPIM, São Paulo also announced its candidature to host the World Expo in 2020.
These are good signs for investors! São Paulo is among the top 4 real estate destinations worldwide and the country’s main commercial property market has gone up 54 % since 2009. Foreign direct investment in São Paulo, Brazil’s business capital, almost tripled last year. Holding over 12 % of the country’s GDP, the city presents optimal projects and opportunities for international partners.
