MIPIM 2012 will take place from March 6 to 9 in the Palais des Festivals in Cannes, France. Over 19,000 property leaders will be in attendance to view projects, assess profitable ventures, strike deals and seek out market information.
This year’s event promises a superb programme of conferences, keynote speakers, innovative displays, networking sessions, a host of fresh and fun events, and our prestigious MIPIM Awards ceremony.
At MIPIM 2012 in partnership with fDI, Immobilien Zeitung and Daily RE, we will be live streaming a major conference on how property is placed to meet investors’ needs with brings together Bernhard Berg of IVG and Jean-Michel Six of Standard and Poor’s. In addition, we will be posting conference videos on Youtube in near real time, and live tweeting using the #MIPIM hashtag. These tweets will be posted on super-sized live tweetwalls, thanks to our sponsor Paris Region (@ParisRegion). We’ll also be keeping our Facebook page updated with all the latest news and posts.

Jackie Sadek and the UK regeneration team will write about all the big stories in the UK, giving us a taste of the atmosphere and fun elements of MIPIM.
Students from the Wisconsin School of Business, led by Dean, François Ortalo-Magné, will share their perspective as the next generation of MIPIM. They’ll attend every single conference and post on the key trends and themes they observe.
Johanne Royer is the official representative of MIPIM in Canada. She’ll be blogging with a focus on North America.
Andreas Schiller, publisher and editor-in-chief of SPH Newsletter. SPH Newsletter informs the world about trends and tendencies in the central, eastern, and southeastern real estate and investment markets, as well as Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States. Schiller will be writing about all things Germany, MIPIM’s Country of Honour for 2012.
Greg Clark, city advisor and mentor, is also MIPIMWorld’s Cities moderator. Clark’s current roles include Senior Fellow at the Urban Land Institute, Chief Advisor and Chairman of the OECD Forum on Development Agencies and Investment Strategies, and Lead Advisor for the World Bank Urbanisation Knowledge Platform. He will bring in a series of guest bloggers to write about cities at MIPIM 2012 – something new on offer at this year’s event.
