MAPIC is a unique real estate trade show dedicated to the retail sector. Bringing together industry leaders from across the globe, it gives participants the rare opportunity to explore innovative projects, forge partnerships, close deals and stay on top of all the latest trends.
MAPIC 2011 will take place in Cannes, France from November 16 – 18.

To make the distinction with our live tweeter in Hong Kong (who will be tweeting on #MIPIMAsia), I’ll be tweeting using the sign off ^Jo. Our tweeter in Hong Kong will be using ^DT. We will also be posting regular updates on our Facebook page, and you can too – we hope you’ll choose to share your views and comments!
You’ll want to pay special attention to our multinational real-time linkup between MAPIC and MIPIM Asia. Participants in Hong Kong and Cannes will be able to take part in a live debate on Wednesday 16 November, at 9.30 (France) and 16.30 (Hong Kong). This exciting new format will feature a presentation of main achievements in creating and developing projects in the global retail sector over the world, with a special emphasis on Asia.
We’ll also be keeping a close eye on our Speed Matching participants. Featuring a select group of hand-picked retailers and developers, Speed Matching gives nominees a snappy seven minutes to present their projects before linking up with partners during a networking session. We’ll follow Speed Matching participants as they navigate the fast-paced, action-packed waters of up-and-coming retail projects.
Last but not least, we’ll be keeping you up to date on events in and around the all-new MORE Pavilion. Featuring the industry’s most innovative thinkers and projects, the MORE Pavilion is a showcase for today’s best and brightest retail concepts, trends and technologies. It’s sure to be one of the busiest spots in a packed MAPIC 2011.
